THE CITY OF CORDELE DISCOURAGES DEVELOPMENT WITHIN A FLOOD PLAIN; HOWEVER, WE UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS SOMETIMES NEEDED. THE LINKS BELOW WILL HELP DEFINE REQUIERMENTS FOR SUCH DEVELOPMENTS: Please note that the below listed floodplain development permit is currently a permit used by staff until the City Commission adopts its own permit. The current permit is developed based on information required and furnished by the State of Georgia.

PROJECT MANUAL SANITARY SEWER REHAB

The City of Cordele, GA will open bids for a SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. The project consists of rehabilitation of approximately 7,952 feet of 15-inch sanitary sewer line. Click on the ADVERTISEMENT link above for more information.

PROJECTS UNDER CONSTRUCTION INCLUDE:

Pecan Street Sidewalks. Contract awarded December, 2019, and presently under construction.

Train Viewing Platform. 

Construction started June 15, 2020. Completion date is scheduled for the middle of December, 2020.
